For real estate agents · Invite only

The numbers you wish you knew about your business.

Most agents know their GCI. Very few know their real hourly wage, their cost per closing, which lead source actually makes them money, or exactly how much they've paid their brokerage this year.

Clock & Close tracks those advanced numbers for you, from just a few details on each closing and a tap when you start working.

We're letting agents in a few at a time. We'll only email you about Clock & Close.

How each number is tracked

Enter a few details. The math happens on its own.

You add a closing in about a minute and tap Clock in when you start working. Everything below is calculated from that.

Real hourly wage

Real estate pays by the deal, so most agents never find out what their time is worth. A built-in time card turns your hours into an hourly rate you can compare with any other job.

$61,340 kept ÷ 1,283 hours = $47.80/hr
After $9,600 in lead costs = $40.33/hrExample numbers

What it tracks

  • Clock in and out with one tap, and add or fix a shift you forgot
  • Hourly wage after splits and fees, and again after lead costs
  • Hours this week, average per week, and hours by month

Lead source ROI

Agents spend thousands on leads without knowing which sources pay them back. Each source gets its own section, and every closing tagged with it flows in automatically.

Zillow Flex · 35% referral
3 closings · $9,450 in referral fees · 140% ROIExample numbers

What it tracks

  • Monthly cost for each source, month by month
  • Referral fees for Zillow Flex, Realtor.com, relocation and agent referrals, required on every deal from those sources
  • ROI, net profit and cost per closing for every source
  • A ranking of your best and worst sources for the year

Split & cap

Enter your brokerage plan once. Every closing then works out what went to the office, stops the split the moment you cap, and switches to your post-cap fee.

$12,850 of $16,000 cap paid
$3,150 to go · about 1 more dealExample numbers

What it tracks

  • Your split, cap and anniversary month, so the cap resets on the right date
  • Transaction, post-cap and monthly desk fees
  • Total paid to your brokerage this year, with a running ledger
  • Broker checks from title: enter the full check and state tax is backed out automatically

Goal pace

A yearly goal is easy to set and easy to forget. Clock & Close asks for one each January, then shows every day whether you're ahead or behind where you should be.

$61,340 of $72,000 · 83% of the year gone
$1,580 ahead · need about $5,100/month to finishExample numbers

What it tracks

  • Commission and closings goals for each year
  • Ahead or behind pace by a dollar amount, updated daily
  • What you need per month and where you're on pace to finish

Year over year & monthly recaps

At the start of each month you get a short recap of the month before, compared with the same month last year and your pace so far.

September: 2 closings · $11,368 kept
▲ 18% vs Sep 2025 · best month this yearExample numbers

What it tracks

  • This year vs last year, year to date or full year
  • Monthly recaps with your top lead source, hours, wage and cap progress
  • Milestones like your first listing sold, capping, or a source paying for itself

Closing stats

Every closing builds a clear record of your production, so you can see your averages without rebuilding a spreadsheet.

Avg sale price $284,700 · 98.6% of asking
27 days on market · 2.94% avg commissionExample numbers

What it tracks

  • Volume, commission and average sale price
  • % of asking and days on market on your listings
  • Commission %, filled in from your commission or the other way around

FAQ

Questions agents ask us

I already track my GCI in a spreadsheet. Why switch?

A spreadsheet only knows what you remember to type into it. Clock & Close connects your closings, hours, lead costs and brokerage plan, so numbers like hourly wage, cost per closing and cap progress calculate on their own.

What do I have to enter?

For each closing: the address, date, sale price, commission and where the business came from. List price, days on market and client names are optional. Day to day, you tap Clock in and Clock out. Lead costs are entered once a month, or once for the year if they don't change.

Does it work with my brokerage's split and cap?

Yes. You enter your split, cap amount, the month your cap year resets, and any transaction, post-cap or desk fees. Clock & Close applies them to every closing and stops the split when you cap.

How does it handle Zillow Flex and other referral fees?

You mark a source as referral-based and enter its usual percentage. Every closing from that source asks for the referral fee, takes it off the top before your split, and counts it toward that source's ROI.

I'm the broker. Can I enter the check from title?

Yes. Brokers can turn on the title check field, enter the full amount, and state tax is backed out to give the commission.

Who can see my numbers?

Only you. Each agent's records are private to their account, and we don't sell or share your data.
